JurisTech’s Online Privacy Policy

JurisTech Corp. (“JurisTech”) respects and will protect your privacy. This online privacy policy describes how we use and protect personally identifiable information that you share with us (“Personal Information”). This Personal Information is information that enables us to identify you, such as your name, email address, phone number and mailing address. We do not share this information with third parties except specifically as listed and for the purposes set forth below.

This policy governs Websites owned and operated by JurisTech. Our policy does not govern Web sites of other parties to which we may provide links since JurisTech is not responsible for, and cannot control, the privacy practices or content of those sites.

Collection of Your Personal Information

We will ask you when we need Personal Information that allows us to contact and/or provide services to you. Generally, this information is requested when you are ordering software or services, requesting information about a product or service, signing up for a newsletter, or registering for an event.

The Personal Information we collect also allows us to keep you posted on JurisTech’s latest product announcements, software updates, and upcoming events. We may use Personal Information to help us develop, deliver, and improve our products, services, content, advertising and customer communications.

Personal Information collected by JurisTech often is limited to your name, address, phone number, and email address, but may include other information when needed to provide information or a service you requested. We keep this information on file.

If you choose to make a purchase, we will ask for additional information, such as your credit card number (you may opt to provide banking information for certain services). We do not keep credit card or banking information on file unless requested/authorized by you.

JurisTech also automatically receives and records certain information on our server logs about your computer hardware and software (“Site Visitation Data”). Site Visitation Data is identified only by a unique ID number and it is never linked with personal information unless a user consents. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, operating system, domain name, access times, and referring Website addresses. JurisTech also collects information about which pages our customers visit on our Website. The JurisTech Website may also utilize cookies. This information is used to provide general statistics regarding use of JurisTech’s Website, ensure our Website is relevant to your needs, and to help us create and publish content and products most relevant to you.

When you receive commercial or promotional email from JurisTech, we may use customized links or similar technologies to determine whether the email has been opened and which links you click in order to provide you more focused email communications or other information.

Communications

JurisTech may provide you with communications such as advertisements and product promotions. If you do not want to receive such information you may opt out at any time by unchecking the box on your user registration page.

From time to time however, we may use your Personal Information to send important administrative notices, such as communications regarding product updates or changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. Because this information is important to your interaction with JurisTech, you may not opt out of receiving these communications until you cancel your account.

Sharing of Your Personal Information

JurisTech will not sell or rent your Personal Information to anyone. JurisTech will send Personal Information about you to other companies or people only when we: (1) have your consent to share the information; (2) need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested; (3) need to send the information to companies who work with or on behalf of JurisTech to provide a product or service to you (unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personal information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.); (4) are required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce our Terms of Service Agreement (c) protect the rights, property or personal safety of JurisTech, its users or the public.

JurisTech will occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf (e.g. mailing services). We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Changes/Cancellation of Your Information

JurisTech provides an online method from its Website to change or cancel your Personal Information on your user registration page. Please note, if you have indicated to us that you would like us to automatically charge recurring fees to your credit card or to deduct fees from your Bank account, your revocation of such authorization is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in our Terms of Service Agreement.
